Graphic designer. Problem solver. All-around fun person.
Logos, brochures, books, tradeshow displays, postcards, signage, mailers, ads, banners, infographics... all these are possible solutions to a larger communication goals. As a designer, I look at the big picture and create strategic, smart designs that best achieve these goals.
I've had the pleasure to work with a variety of creative teams since graduating with a BFA in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design. I started my career at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia in New York. From intern to art director, I worked on several titles: Kids: Fun Stuff To Do Together, the redesign of Body+Soul, and the creation of Blueprint. I then joined the small-but-mighty New York design studio, Little Fury, designing environmental graphics for Paramount and Nickelodeon and illustrating maps for their notebooks, Start Here. Ready for fresh air and new challenge, I moved north becoming Senior Designer at McCabe, Duval + Associates in Portland, Maine. At MD+A I worked on a variety of banking, healthcare, and nonprofit projects start to finish for local and national clients including Trustmark Bank, RBC Bank, Orthopaedic Institute of Central Maine, Central Maine Orthopaedics, Coastal Humane Society, and The Nature Conservancy. As a freelance designer, I redesigned Florida Green Building , a green building trade magazine, and produced numerous wedding invitation suites, holiday cards, and materials for local clients.
I welcome all kinds of projects that challenge my creativity and problem solving skills. (Bonus points if charts or infographics are needed!) When not designing, you can find me visiting new places, catching live music, enjoying some local food and beer — or, better yet, all of the above!
