Hello!

Nice to meet you (virtually).

Hi, I'm Jen!
I am a graphic designervisual storyteller, and strategic thinker with nearly two decades of professional experience. I specialize in creating inspiring and functional communication materials for a diverse client base.
Who I work with
I've collaborated with giant agencies and tiny start-ups — and lots in between.
Studios + Agencies
Need an extra hand with project overflow? Whether you're looking for a fresh perspective to brainstorm concepts or help creating pieces that coordinate with an existing look and feel, I can seamlessly integrate with your existing studio workflow and culture to get things done on time and with style!
Directly with Clients
Never worked with a professional designer before? You can trust that I will walk you through every step of the creative process
Or, maybe you're a seasoned client looking for a new visual collaborator? I'd love the opportunity to make your communications shine. Working with me means amazing design and strategy without the full-time commitment of an in-house employee.
My design experience
After an incredibly brief span of time when my six-year old self wanted to be a nurse (probably more due to rainbow band-aids than anything else), I dreamed of being an artist. I focused on my goal, ultimately earning my BFA with a major in Graphic Design from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD)
I started my career in New York City as a design intern at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Moving up the ladder to Associate Art Director, I worked on Kids: Fun Stuff To Do Together, the redesign of Body+Soul, and the launch of Blueprint magazines.
Switching gears from editorial design, I freelanced at the small-but-mighty design studio, Little Fury, designing environmental art for Paramount and Nickelodeon as well as illustrating maps for their Start Here notebook line.
Ready for fresh air and a new challenge, I moved north becoming Senior Designer at McCabe, Duval + Associates (MD+A) in Portland, Maine. At MD+A I worked on a variety of banking, healthcare, and nonprofit projects start-to-finish for local and national clients such as Trustmark Bank, Orthopaedic Institute of Central Maine, Coastal Humane Society, and The Nature Conservancy.
After several years at MD+A, I moved to Connecticut for love… and, as luck would have it, less than a mile from the studio of Alexander Isley Inc. Designers. As a part of Alex’s tight-knit, creative team, I had the opportunity to work on collateral, advertising, branding, packaging, catalog, exhibit, and book projects. Clients included Colorblends, Panolam Surface Systems, Rosemary & Vine, The Westport Library, Three Meadows Spirits, and Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture.
Next up: back to Maine! Although I'd freelanced on the side for years, I took the plunge and established my own studio. As Jen Bradstreet Design, I've designed logos, trade magazines, holiday cards, brochures, catalogs, posters, ads, merchandise graphics, presentations, business cards, tradeshow displays, signage, and more! Past and present clients include Learning Design Network for NYU Langone Health, Kaiser Permanente, Kamehameha SchoolsPuritan Medical ProductsCushman CreativeStudio PKC for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona, Mobilize AZ, Outward, Vive, and Arizona Alliance for Community Health Centers; Might & Main for Haystack Mountain School of Crafts and Concord AcademyzLinqOsher Lifelong Learning Institute at University of Southern MaineTwin Rivers PaperYale University for Yale School of the Environment and Environmental Leadership & Training Initiative.
I welcome all kinds of projects
and enjoy collaborating with fun, forward-thinking teams.
